Hosted by the WU Legal Tech Center at the unique WU Campus in Vienna, the inaugural “European Scientific Legal Tech Summit” will take place on 23 May 2024. The Summit is dedicated to the overarching topic of “Automating the Rule of Law” and will bring together distinguished international experts to present and deliberate their research with the scientific community. The conference proceedings will be complemented by a podcast series and the contributions shall be published in an anthology with an international publisher, extending the reach of the insights shared during the Summit to a wider audience.

The goal of the biennial Summits is to establish an international forum for (interdisciplinary and international) research on matters of/concerning legal tech. We thereby not only aim to foster a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives, but also to enhance the visibility of Vienna as a hub for scientific research and strengthen its role as a European Legal Tech Hub.
